ABS ring broken/cracked - can I disable ABS until it's fixed

Hi, as per thread title - my front drivers ABS ring is cracked/broken meaning the ABS is kicking almost all the time, making it dangerous to drive.

Is there a way of disabling the ABS until I can get it fixed? Hoping to get it done at local garage next week.

I'm hoping it's a case of removing a fuse, or disconnecting a cable?

Thanks in anticipation

Yes, remove the fuse - though you'll have the ABS light on the dashboard.

I believe you can also just remove the old rings, that'll stop the ABS kicking in. Though again you'll have the light on.

When my ring cracked I just araldited it back in place.... saves a lot of hassle in refitting a new one. No issues 2 years down the line...

If you unplug the massive plug (the one with the red locking slider) on the ABS pump, this will completely disable the ABS.
