I didn't get time to go today, but I'm working next door to the yard tomorrow morning so I will pick up a bracket and send it as soon as possible.

Here are some photos of the bracket I picked up this morning, let me know if this is anything like you might want to fit to your car.

There are many different types of these brackets, I have no way of knowing if this fits your car, but have a look and let me know what you think before I send it.

Not sure how to upload to the forum

Thanks Jasper. It looks a little different from the pictures I posted. There are no notches near the holes and it just generally seems like a different bracket.

Can you line them all up and take a picture from the top? :D

Yeah, it's definitely different. The bolt holes near the driveshaft hole are in different places from mine.

I am going to take the wheel off and see if I can get a closer look at mine - even the photos I posted seems different from the close up pictures I've taken!

Great! See what view you can get...the guy at the yard will allow me to change the bracket if wrong.

OK! It's definitely like the one in 3 pictures I posted earlier. The best identifying mark I can see if the DW-A near the top of the mount.

I'd say if you find one with DW-A or DW-B (the look the same) marking then it will likely fit OK.

I had a squint and it looks like the mount you have is from a Peugeot 206 HDI engine.

SB says part number 1816 15 - will it be imprinted on the mount though?

I saw some DW-A so I'll go have a look again tomorrow......

Please be aware that my Mother In Law is seriously ill in hospital and if required I may get tied up at the hospital.

Got the mount and the 35mm socket now, so I am pretty much good to go! Just need to find the time and I have very little of it in the next few days...

Question regarding the hub nut - do I need to use a breaker bar or will a ratchet be strong enough? Will need to grab one off my dad if I need the former.

Having just replaced a CV joint on my HPi this morning I have to say that you definitely need a breaker bar....I used my 3/4 drive breaker bar and had to stand on it to undo the driveshaft nut....having said that, I tightened up your driveshaft nut up with an air gun so maybe it will be a little less tight.

Take a look in my thread about my new project, there are some pointers in there for you.
