MOT Pass Yesterday

Took it in yesterday, and it passed. Collected a few notes though, front brake hoses and front droplinks need replacing, and I have to fix imbalance on rear brakes (both service and parking brake). I reckon new rear pads and shoes should sort it though.
Because the whole system is computerized, the initial findings of the computer were a fail as beam pattern was wrong. Took out the nearside bulb to check it, and found it had been fitted upside down*. Turned it right way up and got an immediate pass. How do people get bulbs to fit upside down? So I reckon for around £100 I'll have another year cheap motoring.
*When driving at night, I had noticed that the cutoff for the nearside dip wasn't as clean as the offised but put it down to a cheap bulb.
