Vibration

Post by JSEAL »

Hey, I have a Peugeot 406 y reg 2001. Just recently its started making a vibration type noise from the front of the car which you can hear quite loudly whilst driving . The noise goes when I turn right but returns once I straighten up or turn left. Has anyone got any ideas? Any help much appreciated.

Hi and welcome aboard. 8)

A few people have had similar problems and found a mis-shaped tyre is the cause. Try swapping both front wheels in turn for the spare.
Eliminate this before you try anything more expensive.

2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)

2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
