Low Brake fluid warning.

Can someone please please help me diving me nuts, I have a 1999/2000 peugeot 406 hdi i am getting a warning coming up on the digital clock display Brake fluid low warning when you release the hand brake which bleeps now and gain also at the same time the parking brake light comes on as well however when you apply hand brake they all go out please please help someone many thanks.

Sounds like the old faulty handbrake switch, I've not had this on mine yet.

If your desperate & wish to fault find, the glovebox switch is the same part.

I agree - it's a fairly common thing, although I haven't experienced it yet.
As stated, you can remove the switch on the glove box ( it only puts the light on inside anyway ) and swap it with the handbrake switch - if it's fixed then get another switch to put in the glove box :cheesy:
