Front shock absorbers
I plan to replace front shock absorbers. The brand probably will be Sachs but I am not sure whether gas or oil are better for good comfort? Is there better/recommended brand?

Re: Front shock absorbers
It's more a case of what's available
KYB are quite popular, I've got Bilstein B4's on mine, much better than stock but mine had done over 100k
Some people have reported the Bilstein's dying quite early on but mine have been on 3 years, 28k & all good
Most are gas these day's & gas should be just as smooth if not smoother,
it's all down to sport's or comfort for ride quality, oh & the quality of the brand
