rear roll bar clamps

Hi all,
my copy of Haynes manual is on a different laptop which I am currently fixing so could anybody on here help me please.
My rear roll bar bush fell out on drivers side, I have replacement bushes but before I tear it apart could somebody tell me what the clamps are supposed to be like? The passenger side looks very different to the drivers side. The passenger side looks like it encircles the bush but the drivers side doesn't, I suspect it has rusted through and fallen off.
I realise that the clamps are now unobtanium from Peugeot and also anywhere else it seems so is it fabricate one myself?
Thanks
Andy

Ahhh, in the previous topic, rear anti roll bar bush sizes, there is a diagram showing the bearing clamps, it shows that both ends of the clamp are fastened by bolts. On mine one of the bolt holes has disappeared.
At least I have what's left as a pattern.

Just a thought, I believe an anti roll bar if not fitted to the vehicle is not an mot fail, is that correct?
If it's not fitted it can't be tested, the bar is cable tied in place for now but no only is sourcing clamps a pain just trying to get the rusted nut out is
really difficult. I can now see a nut after knocking away the rust and crud but the remnants of thread on the bolt don't look good.

On https://www.gov.uk/guidance/mot-inspect ... tion-5-3-3 :
5.3.3. Suspension arms, rods, struts, sub-frames, anti-roll bars etc.

[...]

Defect:
(a) A suspension component:

(i) insecurely attached to chassis or axle
(ii) missing, likely to become detached or directional stability impaired

Category:
Major - Dangerous
So I guess a missing anti-roll bar is a fail.

The clamps do rust through and they're hard to get any good ones, I took a fibreglass mould off one of mine and then used them as a pattern to shape some new steel ones.

Thanks Simon, that's a good idea. I'll see if I can get the good on off and use that one to make a pattern using fiberglass.

I've got 2 rear arb clamps, I had them made by a local blacksmith. I'd add a picture but it says file too large.

They're a bit rough around the edges but they should do the job and will definitely outlive the car.
