fitting & removal of rear shelf
I have ordered a shelf for my x'reg rapier saloon from a x'reg executive, basically i wanted a sunblind and the ones i have bought from car accessory shops have either broken when trying to fit or fall down with the hot weather. So a search on ebay i found a car of the same age just of higher spec, but as i did not remove it from the car myself i am not sure if i will have any difficulties to expect in removing the one in my car at present.

Re: fitting & removal of rear shelf
Easy.
Undo 2 nuts holding the rear seat. To remove the seat, you need to stick your hand under each side and unlick some holders there. Take it out.
Undo the bolts (1 on each side) that hold the side panel/cushion thing, then slide it up and it comes out.
Take out the 3 clip fastener things that hold the parcel shelf in, undo the plastic nut in the compartment and the whole shelf just slides out.

You won't have it unless you have a cubby hole built into your shelf
