courtsey lights in door cards please help

i have just fitted the door cards off a exec on to my lx the lights was not on my old interior so i pluged in the white plug into the light on all four doors and nothin happened i checked all the bulbs and they are fine can anyone help with this and how i can get them workin thanks in advance

The wiring's probably missing from the body looms

It sounds like the wiring exists inside the doors, presumably it's missing in the car though :(

I wonder if it's the old BSi again.....

Has it got elec rear windows? ....yes

Has it got climate control?....yes

Has it got courtesy lights in the door cards?....no

Maybe follow the wiring back? if it goes into the BSi (near steering column) then the BSi will have to be told to switch the lights on (dealer software).

wil have to be turned on with pug software. if you come up near chester any time i can poss help out
