drivers arm rest

Hi all new to this site so hello all .Have just brought a 406 est 2002 hdi lx but driver seat arm rest is knakered .Arm rest comes out of housing and cover is missing has anyone any ideas how to fix ? if not where can i get a new unit and how to fit cheers all

I think it can be repaired but just incase part no is 9652.QV

I suppose I should be a bit more friendly here, sorry. Umm, I'm looking at the arm rest from my HDi here, there's two big metal pins sticking out the side and a tiny round cover, are these the problem? Or is it the fittings on the seat? There's all different materials for the arm rest and they're 130 quid a piece from Peugeot (better off at the breaker's), or there's the fitting kit (either grey or beige) for the part on the seat itself, 36 quid (breaker's beckons). Oh and a tiny spring that goes inside it for pennies.

Been waiting for a reply on this myself

My leather seats I fitted, have the same problem on the drivers armrest with it keep falling out.

Shame I binned the old seats down the tip ( lack of storage ) otherwise I could of raided that one to repair this one :|
