rear shelf blind

Post by andrew1608 »

Does any one know if it's possible to get a rear shelf for the saloon with the rectractable sunblind built in ( in black to match the rapier interior colour trim) the only one i have seen so far has been on in blue.

I believe Welly's 406 had a black one if memory serves....
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Note to all rear blinder's: don't leave your blind in place for 14 months at a time - it will break.

andrew1608 - you'd have to keep an eye on ebay (that'll be fun then) or maybe a specialist breaker. You can buy the blinds from Yeomans Peugeot webshyte but it's not something you can retrofit to another shelf.

There is a rear shelf blind built into my 2002 executive, so look out for an executives rear parcel shelf and you will get a blind. Its really a good job at night because some people (who can be described with bad words) drive right up the tailpipe of the car with full beam on but with the blind up i dont care. The factory fit one though does feel delicate, and i always fear for it breaking, some one out of argos or ebay might do the same trick, but the standard one in its favour tucks neatly away.
