Daft question - I have a 406 exec on a N plate - body is tatty but interior lovely, was looking for a newer exec but few and far between - my question is this - if I get a standard lx/glx etc - can i swap all my leather interior into it and what am I likely to lose, gadget wise if I get a X reg for example (or will I gain some from a N reg??)... is the loom there for heated seats/electric adjustments etc?
Ta in advance

D8 and D9 seat swap is a big no no. Completely different wiring for nearly everything

It's the leather seats I want to keep - might see how much to sort it out to keep - got a rattle/knock on front end - don't know if it's exhaust or altenator bearing - clunk on back end and seems to sit at 1000rpm regardless whether it's hot or cold - no smoke, no oil or water use - 50ish mpg - dead comfy

Worst comes to the worst, Leather interiors pop up on ebay quite often these days for not too much money. Normaly go for £100 to £200.

The rattle might be caused by a heat shield hitting the exhaust pipe...or the crankshaft pulley
