Nay, I'll just wait for when I find a decent set of leather seats... I don't want the black ones since in a black car it'd be an oven, sadly the tan are a PITA to find here.

Then you say it's not that bad? I like the black leather but when I get in my friend's Primera it feels like you can die, also the leather on D9 saloons is not perforated right? I already sweat with the cloth grey seats...

A couple of times (in Aberdeen, of all places!) the outside temperature has hit 30 Celsius, and when I've gone out to the Coupe and opened the door, it's felt like an oven.

The black leather in my Coupe isn't perforated (it's ruched), but the seat is designed so that the ribbing on the seat base and back allows your skin to breathe. (Did you know the Coupe seats were designed by Recaro? I didn't)

Also, the air conditioning unit is excellent - nice and frosty. Open the door, reach in, start the car, put the A/C on, close the door, wait outside for a couple of minutes, open the door, and you're good to go.

I actually found the cloth in my old saloon to be worse - sure, the interior of the car never actually felt so hot, but the seats themselves didn't seem to let my skin breathe properly, so I used to sweat a lot more

I can't actually say it's made the car any more of an oven than it was with cloth. If it's been sitting in the sun I have to leave the door open for a few minutes to let the hot air out - the best way to avoid having to do this is park it in the shade, however if this involves a tree be prepared to wash the bird poop off

If you're sweating in cloth seats then you'll be sweating more with leather, whatever the colour. Is your air con broked?

No, it works brilliantly (well once in a while the compressor refuses to start, but restarting the car is sufficient). Bt I hate to leave the car standing idle only to let it cool down, it does hurt both the engine and the ambient, so I just drive off in the oven. I just bought wind deflectors and it can seem strange but they help A LOT.
I'll start hunting down for black leathers too...
it wasn't too difficult to convince me uh?

EDIT: It'll be a challenge to find leather seats with heating, memory and in decent conditions...

My GF often drives the 406, so it'd be useful. It'll work, I just need to get the memory ECU, why you say it won't? Ade even sells a complete conversion set.

Uhm, I really thought I found an how to but can't seem to find it. However I'm sure it CAN be done somehow, in fact it's only some wiring and most of it should be in place if you, like me, already have electric seats.
