Just had a passenger hold the door handle and the noise partly stopped, i reckon the rear door handle is doing it aswell, did spray handles with WD from the outside , but no joy, so off with the doorcards tomorrow, and spray from the inside.

Guess you might be experiencing a wider range of temperatures in your manor - how 'cool' is it right now, Steve?
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
It's actually been surprisingly warm here, it's been around zero for a couple of weeks now and the snow's almost melted (still the odd heap here and there), the downside is everything's turned to mud. Presently it's 2 degrees and snowing but it's only settling on cold things like the old snow and my car (which isn't in the shed because I have to drive it over part of the lawn, squelch squelch).
I've not even had to use my sump heater (yet), the lowest it's been was -16 but I was away from any power at the time. My Pug was running like crap, maybe removing the sound deadening from under the bonnet wasn't such a good idea but it was falling to bits. Shame another is about 100 quid
