Having read this thread i have gone and bought a kit for my d9 exec it realls is as easy and cheap to fit as described. one extra point on the install guide. the kit has hole and a holder for the ash tray light to fit into. i think this was mentioned. but i found that the little red window in the ashtray ( that makes the red glow rather than just bulb colour) pops out of ash tray and pops back into the wole on the kit. Nice. so you can have the same red glow in there. Not sure if this was mentioned in the install guide.
i will now be putting my walenut ashtray and rubber mat on ebay. But if any one here is intrested in it send me a pm.

Hmmm my non-slip rubber boot mat is too wide for my boot near the seats. Pondering snipping a bit off and trying it on the ashtray... :cheesy:

How'd you manage to get hold of them? Didn't it just swim away when you goy the knife out?

Mine's got the rubber mat thing, but I cut an anti-slip mat to fit the whole area (I don't use the ashtray), so the proper mat has been in the glovebox for 6 years
