Re: Saloon Boot badge
posted this in my pic section but thought i would post it here as well
bood badge removed from car and prepered ready for nivek's resin decal
as you can see i removed the old badge from the housing (the lion bit is metal) and its left a nice area for the new resin decal to sit.

cleaned up , old glue removed

also fitted a new seal on the back, got this from dealer. seal price = £8 odd

Re: Saloon Boot badge
it is yes frank. get small , i mean very small screwdriver or something similar and get it behind , it will come off that way.
i wanted to fit a new seal behind the badge thats why i removed mine.
just be carefull when taking the bit of the little square bit with the key hole in. this small bit only clips onto the lock behind . if you sprise it a little harder it will come off.
the bit arrowed red i mean. this bit actually clips off the lock. then you can remove the metal pug badge why its off the lock.

Re: Saloon Boot badge
I've made a start on removing my badge
In combination of a precision screwdriver, and a stanley knife
Slow process as the top layer keens disintegrating and I have to keep trying to get back behind it
Should have some pics later - i've already took a before, so will do the after later hopefully

anything that lights up blue on the exterior of the car wouidnt be Good,FarmerPug wrote:blue would be good.

the Plod wouidnt be happy,
white of front or red on the back is as good as it gets, unless your a Chav they seem to Get away with it,
its getting keen over here even mot wise, my Fiat failed its mot just because a Air-freshner was hanging from the rear view mirror theyd rip the car to bits if they seen any lights that wernt legal colours
