Nice one! :) (and I still have my mini rubber mat thingy - but like to lose things off the passenger seat).

A bit O/T I know, and I have packed in myself, but being as the missus still smokes (when I let her drive it), can anybody tell me if the cigarette lighter has to be a 406 one, or will a 206, 306 (etc) be just the same?

Thanks in advance! (hates to have a non-working bit, even if I don't intend to use it) 8)

is it possible to get that off an old 407 ? looks like the same panel.... have been thinking of doing the same but i'm afraid it will take too much space because i have a automatic gearbox ?

I *THINK* the auto box area has the same dimensions as the manual's gearstick gaiter

EDIT: I was wrong

These look pretty good and will serve a far better purpose than the Ash tray which I have to punch to get it to open (I dont smoke) but alas, good little cubby hole.

Are they know as 'Non-smoking kit' at Pug dealers?

How often do they come up on eBay?

They're cheap things, and you can get the genuine Peugeot ones here:

Unfortunately for those with automatics, the non-smoking kit (or "Centre Console Storage Compartment with Lid (Except Auto)" will not fit.

I'm thinking of getting this myself, as the ashtray makes for a really crap storage compartment (only thing its really good for is a place to put the cigarette lighter when I'm using the socket to power my TomTom). For some reason, Mrs Highlander insists on putting coins in there, even though it's a pain in the arse to get them back out again
