Guys!

I need to know if any of you out there have had done, or are changing, the colour of the rear parcel shelf material?

I have picked up a grey one with the blind and cubby hole in, and want to have it recovered in beige to match my interior

I know - most of the answers to this will be buy a beige one, but it's the getting hold of a beige one thats the problem !

Can ANYONE help me (just with this - with everything else i'm BEYOND help!)

Simon

from what i can tell its not possible to replace the material on the shelf but if it were me I would invest in some beige spray paint to the nearest match and spray the whole shelf and blind - I saw this done on wheeler dealer when they wanted to change the colour of the parcel shelf of a different car and it came up looking great -

You may get some ideas in this thread. Captain Jack made a new shelf from scratch, worth a look! :)

Thanks for the responses guys - I'll try the paint idea, and if it goes wrong i'll HAVE to recover it!!

Was looking at using speaker cloth from Auto Acoustics (www.autoacoustics.com) - comes in all colours, but might be a little thin

I'll let you know how it goes!
