Electric window/Trim rub.

Post by VND »

Ok, Old Denty is throwing up problems like theres no tomorow.

Fault number 1056:

drivers electric window is rubbing on the trim/dooor card inner edge, pulling the bit that should be "tucked inside" the door, out in a squeal of plastic against struggling glass.

Sounds like the moror is going to cook, its struggling that hard?

Anyone suffered similar?

Be nice to know what needs replaced/fixed before I start dismantling.

Cheers all.
You guys rock.

Those rubbing strips can become loose and affect the eindow going up and down. Best to just get another from your scrappy.

One of my back doors was doing that, eventually the door card fell off so I investigated - the rubber strip had been put on backwards
