Aircon unit not lighting up

Had the front off the aircon unit for painting, and now it's not lighting up.
I didn't disconnect the wiring whilst doing this so not going to be the plugs aren't in right.

It has the same symptoms of blown bulbs, i.e you can faintly see the numbers and symbols.

I fitted one brand new bulb I had spare and no luck, and i'm pretty sure it's unlikely all 7 bulbs have blown.

Anyone got any idea if there is any other reason why the unit isn't lighting up???

I'd still check the connectors, maybe you didn't unplug it but you still moved it around...

I did have it apart again last night, unplugged all connections, took front back off, made sure the led wires were seated into the circuit board correctly, and fitted front back on, and replugged connections back in.

Still, maybe some contact cleaner on connections, and replug again, can't hurt.

Mine does the same intermittently, I think it's a dry joint somewhere because if I flick the display all the lights come on. I just can't be bothered to fix it!

That concurs with what my mate said.

He has a degree in electronics and said it would be a dry joint.
I said I tried unplugging, but connectors didn't want to come out fiorst time I tried so left them.
He said, doesn't matter, it is really easy to cause a dry joint.
Told me to drop it into him and he'd try and find the offending one, but if no luck, would re-solder all the connections for me.
