Climate Control again!

Post by aust250378 »

Hi all,

(D8 1.9td) I'm having the occasional issue where I start the car and the interior fans are dead. This is only rectified by switching off the ignition and back on again and they come back to life for the duration of the trip???

Anybody else had this and know where to start looking to fix the problem?

Thanks

Austin

I think it's the ignition switch itself but others might expand on this further for you.....

It could be a loose wire going to the fan motor, but also pull apart the climate control unit and see if anything is loose there, loose wires i find are the biggest cause of electrical problems on cars ive owned.
