No screws or clips to remove, just wedge a flatblade screwdriver behind it and pop it out.

Is it possible to do this without damaging the plastic, because i find whenever i pry apart things it usually damages the plastic a bit on where i am doing it, and i dont want to have this on my cars dashboard, so would one of them plastic pry tools i have for taking apart mobile phones do the job, or is there any tips for this

my $0.02:

I had to remove the external temp display the other day, used a metal screwdriver, and there's no sign. the plastic is made of strong stuff.

The vents or the surround?

For the surround, you need to undo 3 screws at the underside of the top of the speedo. Other than that, it pulls out, but there are 1000 clips holding the thing in place.

no its the air vent surround on the passenger side, is it just a clip then, i think the speedo one should be easy enough there is 2 screws at the top and one somewhere else (where?) does the steering wheel need moved for getting it out
