Door handle mix and match

Post by FarmerPug »

Here is a picture of the doorcard of my d9 executive:

I dont understand why peugeot made the handle black when the rest of the interior is cream, would the cream handles which are available in d8 executives fit into this car, and could i put the chrome handle onto it?
Anyone with a d8 executive put up a picture of their door handle just so i can do a colour match on photoshop

your interior is similar to my car but i bet Pug made them black to match with the black trim on the bottom of the doors.to me its quite appealing the cream trim and black door handles and dont know why you want to change them to chrome .
i haven't tried and tested whether D8 door handles will retrofit into a D9 but i think they might not fit in as they have different window switches positions with a D9 thats my own observation. :)

Rear ones yes, front ones no. At least I'm 99% sure of that.

I could be speaking out of turn here, but I don't think that he is referring to the large grab handle. Think he is actually talking about the door handles (that are used to open the door & lock) & surrounds which as far as I know, should be interchangeable. Although I don't think the beige & chrome would be a good colour combination.

Pretty sure that's the ones yes. Can't see why they wouldn't fit a D9.
