Rite guys, fitted a nice set of Climair wind deflectors yesterday and gave them 12hrs to settle in before I put the windows down as instructed. The drivers window wrks fine but the passenger side refused to move under its own power. I've cleaned the window rubbers and glass contact areas as they were a bit gunk'd up. It has helped improve matters but the passenger window still doesn't have the power to close that last half inch without the help of a hand :( What should I do next? Take the door apart and give everything a good clean or start looking for a new window motor?

the wind deflector is too tight then its putting too much stress under the motor to move it, pull it out, and then sand it down so the gaps a bit bigger allowing the glass to fit in easier, you could put in a new motor but the same problem would still happen.

having said that my cars passenger window motor was replaced it says here in the service history and i noticed it as being slow to go back up, so i took the door card off, the seal on the inside where the door card clips onto was pressing too tight on the window, and the cause was that the door card was slotted in wrong, so its worth taking the door card off, and get oil in round the window track also to free it all up, no trouble ever since
