Does anyone reckon that it would be possible to fit a screen in place of the temp controls/buttons on the centre console of the dash?

Ive seen it done on other cars where they move all the switches etc to a unit in the glove box and have a screen in their place. If this is possible what size screen would fit? has anyone measured this up? my car is just the basic D8 LX version without A/C or anything fancy so there isn't all that much to move. Im ok with the electronics side of things.

I would put a motorized screen in but of because of the angle of the radio it would fit properly and I dont want a screen mounted on the roof or anything

Any ideas people???

I'm sure members on here have already done that on here. Cant remember tho they are tho.

Madcow was the first to add a touch screen to the centre console and remove the controls and relocate them.

He should have some pictures in the album, why not check them out.

Yer thats wot i was after would like the screen in the upper bit dno if thats possible only a basic dvd player and screen nothing fancy like navi or a pc

Any chance of a little guide on how u did this Madcow? or anyone else?
