I have a 2002 hdi Rapier and the drivers seat back bolster is down to the wire frame on the passenger side of the drivers seat back, the door side is ok.The cloth is'nt torn yet it seems just like the seat foam has parted company,is it an easy job to remove the seat back covering and repair the foam bearing in mind the seat has a side airbag.I just want to repair it before the cloth eventally tears, any info greatly appreciated.

I recognise that link :cheesy: Once you have the cover off you can see it it's repairable or too far gone. If you do fix it you'd be well advised to invest in the hog ring pliers 'cos they'll make the job so much easier (ebay is your friend  )

ive read it, and am thankful ive got the seat heater in there already, but does your setup come with something that warms the back also, does the standard heated seats warm your back i just never noticed

You mean my set up? Two pads in each seat, one for the bum, one for the back (and damn nice it was on my bad back too :( ) The standard ones should warm your back too (unless the element's burned out of course)

I think either the regulator screws up or an element physically burns out in one spot.

I went out there just now in the car for a quick blast just to check it works, and had a t shirt on so the seats were c c c old, both the derrierre and back bit are warming up.
