Sorry to be the one asking all the questions... maybe when I know something I'll help a few newbies out myself.
Right. There's a hole in the drivers seat fabric, about 2 inches. And a bit of wear/damage to the piping bit too. Obviously the usual wear and tear from getting in and out. I once had a Pug 205 with the same problem. Anyway.... what's the (easy) solution? Can I buy a bit of matching grey cloth from somewhere and get it stitched in, for instance?

You could get the seat invisibly repaired but I think it would work out cheaper to get another interior from one in the scrappers.

Re: Fabric repair to driver's seat bolster?
I had an a hole smoke in my clio and burnt the passeger seat, was proper fuming with them for doing it, they dust dropped the fag onto the seat (effing smokers), and burnt a hole in the seat in what at the time was still my new car i hadnt began to hate it at that point so i did use a number of bad words. I was quoted £140 for one of them stich it up jobbies, renault of course were extremely helpful and told me that the seat is not made for removal by the owner and that a renault trained technicain is required, and in the end i settled for a seat out of the breakers £70 and to prove renault wrong i took a pictue of the seat with the hole, and the new seat put in saying 'look here im now a renault trained technician just by owning a renault' they never replied.
but in the instance of the renault it was cheaper to replace.
