Yes you can, don't smoke.
Ash running down the side of your car and flying around inside is a totaly avoidable situation, thus you can help prevent it.
Therefore, your statement is incorrect.

Pedantry for the win :P

My car would be far more messy if I didn't smoke.
All those chewed bits of trim would look terrible, not to mention the dents in the front from my road rage :P

£30 inc p&p... still tempting, but then I'd have to spend another £15 on a Pininfarina badge to decorate it...

I was a heavy smoker for many years, (out the window too), but stopped since May 2001...

Mrs Doggy celebrated 6 fag free months last weekend :)

The Dogmobile, unfortunately has just taken it up
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

My D9 has the non-smoking kit above so can confirm they were fitted to saloons as well - unfortunately at some point in its life, the bulb that illuminates it has moved out of position and got a little close and burnt the top cover slightly so I'm on the lookout for a cheap new one or maybe just the standard ash-tray
