The Pug way has a different stalk working a relay in the engine fusebox.

I prefer your idea of a separate switch - at least that way you can use the rear one on its own and avoid pi$$ing off other road users pointlessly with the front 'decorations'. [/rant]

I'm looking at switching something, either in the stalk control or the relay setup so that my rears come on first.

Bloody stupid design having the front on first.

Change it to a switch on the dash, thats what I'll do with mine when I get some fogs.

in a big 4x4 the fogs need to be mounted high up on the roof, so that they go further. Heres an example of a bit of nightime light on my suzuki:

In the darkness this is what it looks like when its driving towards you:

It needs more light i think the top lights are good at lighting up the dash but useless at 10 meters away, and yes im aware only one sidelight is working, now though thats fixed theres no sidelights there

Ahh, the toppic for me. I recently bought a pair and now i am gathering info on retrofiting them. If yours is a D8 then there are 2 different scenatios.

1. The front fogs are started from a button under the steering wheel. In that case you will need the button and the rellay which is also under the steering wheel.
2. The front fogs are started from the indicator stalk. In this case you will need to change dhe stalk with one from a car that had front fogs. Ofcourse add the rellay and 2 fuses in the engine fuse box (see haynes :D )

This is my central console, the switch is for rear fogs.

This is where the button should be in scenario one, under the steering wheel. All cables should be pre-installed.

My facia plate had to be changed too with the one shown in the car manual. You can see the connector for the button, the free white one.
