My cars wining!

Post by karlosantana »

I found out why the control panel wasn't illuminating or working.....wait for it...... it wasn't plugged in! So now there's a wining and no A/C, thinking recirculatory flap motor? The noise isn't a clicking its a whine.
Any ideas? It's a D8 by the way :D
Cheers

Wining? So you're not winning then :frown: I'm not sure if the motors time out on D8s, my recirc flap motor runs for about 10 seconds if there's nothing on the end of it. It's not just a noisy fan is it?

Hm I was expecting a good joke out of my post but sorry mate thats a :| from me not impressed :P only joking with you!

Anyway back to stuff! There's no other fan but that one, I unplug the main one (which is also dead by the way) and the noise goes on! It's stupid I hate French electrical thingys. I've ordered a new Recirc motor anyway, just incase. I've thought about waiting but the noise just goes on...It's doing my swede in!

Mk 3 Escrotes used to be good at it, their pumps didn't live much longer once it started.

Is that what it was or is this conjecture?

Stupuid ebayers! "yes I want to sell it but I can't be fecked to remove it"! Er hello offering money here!
Well That's my rant over with. I've been waiting for ages for this guy to sell me his recirc flap motor, he still hasn't taken it apart! Found a guy breaking a 406 D8, got the whole heating system for £50. Kaching bargain!

I looked up the parts on service box, what we call a recirc motor do pug call that a reduction gear? Number 3 below?

The trouble is not even the cheapest one is actually a bargain. Far from it - a little box with a motor in it and a few gears? You've got to be fu?king kidding!
