you have to get yourself a servo to do the work of the button and wire a button up in a convenient place to switch it on so the boot opens or else put in a radio relay beside the servo and it will be wireless. But as discussed earlier debadging to boot is like plastering off the front door to your house, some people think its nice, some people dont.

it is tight
its the actual button you press to open the boot that rattles,

thats a strange source of rattle, shove some spongue in the gaps and it might cure it, but a new boot badge isnt expensive, and easier to fit in comparison with the whole debadging option.

can you not take it off -and then make a seal to go behind it out of a thin peice of rubber,
just an idea~:
if you couid get a seal behind it -it shouid stop it rattling,
or Even put a thin layer of clear silicone behind it ,

If you want to go to the extream why not get an 0 badge from a 407 or any modern Peugoet sedan and install that in between the 4 and the 6. Then weld in the original boot release and if it was me i would still want to have a peugoet lion on the boot lid.

The lion is a great logo, i can understand debadging a daewoo, or a hyundai but why does people with pugs do it, ive even seen someone debadge a vw, and a bmw, why thats the whole reason german cars are so expensive its the badge.

yup i like all my badges even the peugoet 406 logo,
but the only reason i wud remove my boot badge is because it rattles very very loud wen my music is on full
wen the music is on full if i press and hold the button it sounds solid and the annoying noise goes away

then a wee bit of spongue may solve the probelm.
