Door Cards NEW QUESTION (DOOR HANDLES)
been quoted £20 for each door card to be re-trimmed with black cloth upholster
is it worth throwing £80 at the doorcards
the guy said they will look a lot better and you wont tell they have been done
what do you think ?

Re: Door Cards
cant get new ones as my car was a basic D8 LX with stadard wind rear windows and just the 2 switches on the front drivers side card
all other good doorcards seem to have electric mirror controls and rear window switches on them which wont look right in my car
so im thinking f**k it and get it done after i have talked the mrs' round

Re: Door Cards
ye its a nice black cloth trim , just like whats on now
i have been looking for sum now for about a year,
they all seem grey for D8s , and as stated the exec ones have leccy windows int back and mine doesnt,
£20 a door isnt bad i thought

Re: Door Cards
They didn't even do the Exec ones in black anyway - all the D8 Execs I've seen with black leather still had grey dash & door cards.Gary406 wrote:ye its a nice black cloth trim , just like whats on now

Re: Door Cards NEW QUESTION (DOOR HANDLES)
they are held in with plastic blobs, i think done with a plastic welder, i want to take my rear grab handles out to spray with plastigrip to give it its original rubbery feel again.
But even the cheap crap ones are deer:

£50 and i thought about it, a soldering iron can probably do the same thing.

Re: Door Cards NEW QUESTION (DOOR HANDLES)
get a number plate which contains the number 135, 143, or 144 and you could ask well into the 4 figures for it.
