Go to a wrecker!

Blu406 kindly sent me one, to Australia! Make sure you add a bit more glue in, to reinforce it!

I plan to go on a scavenge at the local scrap yard this weekend... always keep an eye out on boot badges. Will post in the sale thread if I find anything. Always sell at cost price only.

I spraypainted mine and now it's better than new. Just clear the badge from the black paint with 200 to 800 to 2000 sandpaper till you get a shiny aluminium surface. Put a layer of masking tape on it. With a sharp utility knife or scalpel cut the masking tape around the lion which is still visable. remove the excess tape until you end up with a "taped" lion in the middle. Mask the chrome edge with tape too and the boot with newspapers and tape (you dont want to paint anything but the badge). Use black satin paint or black rally paint (matt) giving it at least 3-5 layers, giving every layer a chance to dry properly. If you get drops of paint or anyhing uneven don't be afraid to use grid 2000 sanpaper to smooth it up and spray another coat on it. When finished and all dried up remove the masking tape off the lion and you'll end up with a great shiny lion. Spray a coat or two of transparent laquer (optional, the aluminium doesn't change its color without it, tried it) before you remove any more masking and when dry you end up with a brand new badge!
