ok dont ask why i did this but i did

a few weeks ago my wheels were very black from not cleaning them. a sponge and water would not get the black off so.

i decided to get a brillo soap pad and that got it off straight away. i did not scrub that hard cos brillo pads are ruff and i didnt want to scratch the alloy

but now when i wash the car the wheels dry dull and the shinyness isnt there. its not to bad to be honest but you can see the scuff marks that the brillo pad caused

what stuff can i use ? to get them back up shiney. maybe some product on a leccy buffer ?

I've used T cut or similar in the past and then a good polish afterwards to revive dull wheels.

Don't worry about it mate, i'm sure most of us have don't something like that in the past, as said a good buff and polish will probably bring them back up, Ive got this wonder wheels stuff and it did the treat on my old 17"S

I once washed a whole car with the rough pan scourer back of a soap sponge thinking it did a grand job.....until it dried, all dull with a million ting scratches all over the bodywork My mates thought it was funny

My mum washed the car with bleach.

i'm gonna be colour coding my calipers and brake drums soon so wheels will be off individually.

does any1 know (bailes) what product i can use to buff the wheels up good by hand, i dont have any spare cash to buy a leccy buffer
