Bluey-bling Chrome Strips

Dai is probably best for answering this, but hopefully somebody else can shed a bit of close-up light on this.

Been thinking about adding the chrome strips to the bottom grill on mine, but not too sure on which stuff to get or best way to fit. If I'm right, I think people have been just sticking it to the front of the grill, but having had a good look at mine, I can't see it staying stuck for too long as it is a very curved edge & the stick on chrome strips are flat. Also I'm thinking that if it does stay stuck, it may look a bit funny too.

I have seen stuff available that is in a U shape so that it goes over, but these are usually for door edges & interior vents & I haven't seen any that are a big enough U to go over my grill slats.

Is there any chance of getting a couple of close up pictures of somebody's lower grill with these fitted so that I can get a good look at what I should be doing? Also, does anyone know what the right chrome strip to use would be? Ebay link perhaps?

i took blue's advice and bought the halfords stuff and it still looks like new 4 years later
make sure it has 3m glue on it ( will tell you on the packaging) and warm it up with a hairdryer to bond the two together
this is what i bought on blue's advice, and yes it was for my 407 but the grill's the same etc

That looks good on there Trem.

Plod - cheers for the link, but I'm actually hoping for a proper close up of the grill & chrome so that I can see how it looks. At least I can now see the correct width though - looks like 3.5mm x 3.65mm.
