Hi
Today visited a local scrapyard and managed to get the rear carpet out OK, going back tomorrow for the front piece. I've got an idea to cut it in the middle (that part which is under console) to get out easier, but still got no idea how to get it around steering column. Any advice would be much appreciated

Also managed to get black leather doorcards, steering wheel, black seatbelts and grey rooflining including all the plastic bits and pillar trims, so hopefully soon i don't have to look at dirty beige interior. No idea what the previous owner was doing in there :?

the front seats are held in with 4 bolts, they would help at getting the carpet out, the centre console has 2 bolts at the back, then under the gear gatier which can be got out by lifting up the ash tray, there is 2 torx screws either side of the inside, then 2 nuts to undo, unclip the foot heater vent pipes and slide the console backwards , it should then come out. That gives much better access to the carpet, but the side plastic panels will probably also need to come out, they are held in with torx screws undo them and the panels clip out that lets go of the side of the carpets.
