I have seen some electric/heated leather seats from an 01 2.2HDi executive saloon. Will these literally fit straight in my 53 2.2HDi SE saloon (electric seats)? I am hoping the wiring will all be there and be plug and play ...in most other cars I have owned it usually is but seeing as this is my first Peugeot not sure what to expect.

I'd say yes but you really need to check - I'd think both of them have side airbags, I'd think your car would have wiring for the heaters (this should be the only difference) unless one set has memory and the other doesn't, which isn't impossible to sort out but it rather stops it being plug & play.

the Exec has memory, mine are just elec adjust, no memory. If the heating wiring is there thats great. Both seats have side airbags also. I am not too fussed about memory although it would be handy as when the mrs has borrowed the car it can be a pain setting my seat just right.

There's a lot of extra wiring for the memory and apparently it won't work anyway (something to do with it not seeing the mirrors

). Mine's just wired between the motor and the switches to bypass the memory which I gave to my nephew to destroy (& then I saw how much they were going for on ebay...

)
You need to check the wiring for the heaters, I'm pretty sure it'll be there but... You'll also need the switches and a micro relay.

Use your existing drivers seat switch on the executive seats

Good point - It'd still need a bit of fiddling but that would save the need for soldering wires onto the back of the switches to provide earths.

Yeap should be plug and play from what i remember, i transferred heated leather from an Executive into my GTX, i think it was plug and play, then fed power to the heated seats and linked the switches.
