Post by 406pugturbo »

Just wondering if its poss to replace my middle seat belt without replacing the whole back seat section? because mine appears to be missing.

Yes it is, I replaced all my belts. You need to take the bottom bench out and the parcel shelf. The plastic surround unclips and allows you to slide out the individual belt. The reel is held in with a 17mm bolt

Just for clarity...

have alook on the back of the seat, see if the back of it will come off,
if that part is seprable, you shouid be able to fit anew belt in there,

be very carefull taking out the bottom bolts that hold the fastener in. if its stiff use plenty wd40 and undo it a little then tighten back up and work the wd40 through. on my old d8 i managed to snap one of those bolts and it had to go in garage and have fuel tank removed to bolt a new plate behind it to safely secure the seat belt fastener back in place :cheesy:
