Back door central locking
The rear passenger door makes a bit of a wingey noise when locking the car (i lock the car when i jump into it, its just a habit so i can hear it) should i replace the mechanism now before it packs up, can they lock shut, i wouldnt want to have to destroy a door card to get at the mechanism if it fails.

Re: Back door central locking
I know they can jam shut but I'm not sure if this is to do with the locks or just the mechanism jamming. I'd give it a squirt with grease and think about replacing it if this doesn't make it happy 'cos, as you say, it'd make a mess of the door card if you have to get it orf with the door shut.
