In preparation to remove my Volvo door card and other trimz to access my reliable* outside temperature sensor wiring I has bought this 'ere kit the contents of which I have no idea what to do with.

They're made of that Nylon and are supposed to liberate various clips from their seats without damaging stuff.

Anyone else got something similar or any tips for using?

Always use the widest tool you can get in, and try to make sure it is tight against the clip.

I see you has the instructionz. Is all that ventillation crucial, blood?

I usually just grab a corner and pull, or if I can't get in there with fingertips, I use two knives.

The 'man' is standing up in section view, I dunno why Architects and Consultants seem to love adding people to their drawings lately, I counter this by drawing a knob and bollocks on them sometimes that's a fancy new Library with fancy under-floor displacement vent and humadididy control for all the bookz and paperz. Makes a change from Sainsbury's Stores I s'pose

Them trim removal tools are essential for working round visible parts of the car, a couple of years ago i got a set of these or at least this brand as there was 6 tools:

They have stood up well to the abuse, at the end of the day they are still plastic so don't bend at the excessively or they will get damaged themselves but they always get parts of dash apart without leaving any pry marks. My cousin had the nielsen set which has much more variety, it was good as the large wide tool on the left and only that tool was used to remove both the rear and front windscreens on his 305 without damaging or stressing the seals.

I also got some chinese plastic,looks firm,my frend used it on Xsara.
cheapo but comes handy,better that than some oily fat fingers hahah
