Might be worth investigating what the coupe owners use, apparently none of them ever came with arm rests.

on the Yeomans site..there £80 odd notes. Excl vat/shipping.

My 406 came with this armrest that opens up.
Not sure if it is an option or unoriginal.

It is an original option for saloon and estate.
Centre console armrest with storage compartment - Saloon & Estate, part number 9652XG with retail retail fitted price £107,- inc. VAT
Available at thepeugeotshop.co.uk for £86.74.
Model number for the coupé is: 9652QV.
