I haven't really taken a lot of notice lately but the seats on my HDI estate have been cracking. What could I use and could I get them resprayed, I have a friend who can do it but not really sure what the downfalls are?

I used some stuff off ebay on our leather suite and it worked a treat, and that's ivory. Did it about a year ago and itd stilll looking good. Its a sort of paint and you apply it with a sponge or rag.

I've used similar products from this company, also with good results:

You can call them or e-mail a picture of the damage etc., and they can advise on the best course of action.

That damage is very extensive, and the leather will need to be sanded, and the cracks filled with a flexible leather filler and then resprayed to get them to look like new again. It looks like UV damage, were the seats ever protected with any products?

I am not sure weather any care products were ever aplied before I bought the car, though I have applied some lately. Will the respray have any problems with discoloration? I used to own a discovery with seats that were slightly a different color to the rest[emoji2]

Black is fairly easy to match well so I wouldn't anticipate any issues.

Yes, be glad you have the black leather and not the dark blue. It's just light enough that a black treatment looks out of place.

Hi! I new to this Forum so i'll give some iformations to this Leather seats cracking.
Cracked leather seats can decrease the value of a car in addition to being an eyesore. However, you can repair your leather seats with a variety of simple materials found at an automotive paint store. The process takes about two hours and will leave your leather car seats looking as good as new.

I used liquid leather to fill it these cracks. After can you paint with correct colour. I like Leatherique rejuvenator and prestine cleaner to restore your seats. My seats are in next photography.

Slightly off topic, but I see you have the no-smokers kit. What are the 2 extra bits/buttons in the cover..??
