Ginger just been looking at your KB posts as regards changing the seat switches but get a
bit confused at the point where you show the difference between the white switch and
the glx switch , do they fit together ?? sorry white plug that goes into the switch
Hmm, that's as clear as mud. If you're putting mammary seats in but junking the memory controller (because it won't work anyway). You. Will. Need. To put an earth onto the switches because they don't have an earth (god knows how they work) and connect the white socket to the orange socket. You could just cut the wires off and join them though. Obv. you'll have to suss out what does what.
Just reading the how to -grah!
This is how me pa did it (with my instructions):
What I reckon you should do is frig up 12 volts so you can fiddle about with the seat off the car, rather than put it out of action until you've sorted it.

In Gingers thread it looks as though he couples the glx switch into the white plug on the
memory seat and all works apart from memory which is absent on glx seat.
Good idea about rigging 12v up off car to be able to test !

Both the leathers and cloth have the Orange connector underneath. The GLX switches plug straight in but the leathers switch has a white connector which goes to the ecu, the ecu output has the Orange connector to plug into the seat.
The GLX switch plugs straight into the leather seats Orange connector, bypassing the ecu.
