Dash trim

Hello again

I'm wondering if the 406 coupe dash trim matches the 406 saloon model since their interiors look identical. I don't want to buy the new dash before knowing that it will fit

Do you mean the dull grey trim and dash surround?
Yes these are interchangable across the range.

Yes I was talking about the grey dash. I am in the process of transforming the interior from the wooden trim to something simpler

Thank you for your reply. I will post pictures as soon as I put everything together

I binned the walnut in favour of the nice glossy black ash that you find on the 'rapier' models - you can get a matching ashtray too..... :cheesy:

Here is a thread from yesteryear, but there is a guide on how to remove the trim. There were pictures of my car towards the end but it seems all my pictures I have posted have disappeared..??

Keep up the good work!

My door looks exactly the same (for now). Sadly i couldn't find the pininfarina complete set today from the coupe (the driver's trim is missing) but the glossy black is my alternative too. The sad part with the pininfarina set is that my doors will be left with the wooden trim since the coupe doors are different. Also I used to have carbon fiber film on the ashtray and it got complemented a lot

Aha, if you find a late model SE or S, it comes with a similar dull and lifeless grey that the coupe has - I'll try to find one on tinterweb for comparisons.....

I am happy it exists! Well i think the lifeless grey will match the simplistic interior look I try to achieve. I have a long way to go I have this car for 5 years and it's nowhere near to what I want.

I just managed to find the pininfarina set. If anyone knows where to find the equivalent grey door trim please share

The grey trim from the late model S & SE models should be a match for that.

I've got the front trim from an SRi (blue wood) in the shed still if you're interested.
