as title,i am going to the breakers tomorrow for a window switch unit and fancy a walnut effect ashtray unit so are they model specific or can i get one out of an older model and put it in mine.

never actually tried it, but as far as I know they're the same....

black ashtray is part 7588R3 on both D8 and D9.... so it'll fit
