Adding Armrest to 2002 406 - Recommendation?

Hi,
we will go to the south of France in June, and I am currently considering fitting a new centre Armrest. I had one in my previous car, and really miss to have one while cruising on the motorways.
Anyone done that, or anny recommendation on which one to get?
Cheers,
DSAB

Hiya mate,
As far as i know,
this is the only aftermarket centre armrest specifically for the 406, there are one or two members on here who have / had them.
I'd hate to have a car that hasn't got armrests now!

Funnily enough, I've never used the ones on my D9 and I often wonder how easily come off

I'm an armrest junky
I just wish they adjusted a bit because I find mine a tad too high - makes me look like I've hurt my neck

Im sure i seen a previous thread saying you can buy them off e bay and all 406 seats are the same. So you can add the arm rests to both the drivers and passengers. Not sur how you attach them though

Me too - armrests & cruise control - can't live without 'em
For the vertically challenged among us, (short-arsed if you must), fixed central armrest is no good cos I have to move seat so far forward elbow can't reach back to armrest.

Cruise essential too - cos I'm lazy.

What I'd really like is a Chrom armrest made from Germany, with a leather style surface, 2 x foldable drink holders (for the rear passengers) lots of extras for a small price, with a load space and all needed screws all for around 25 euros.
I don't think I'd ever find one though

Made
from Germany

I see such wonderful translations daily, there's even a big sign in Zagreb airport says "Welcome
in Zagreb") ("Get on the plane? F"ck that, I'm gonna get
in the plane" - George Carlin)
There're quite a few similar on ebay global but that's the only chrome one I've seen. I'm not sure if it would look rather sexy or just plain stupid. Sadly it'll cost another 25€ to find out... (But it's only 21.50 to here

)

I think it will be cheap and tacky even though it is "the most solid out of different (better?) suppliers".
And those "drink holders" will get snapped off at the first passing shoe over the tunnel.

Not my cup of tea anyway.

What, your back doors are jammed as well?
