How do you remove the sun blind - mine won't retract

Driving home yesterday I heard a small 'thunk' and a 'flop' as the rear sun blind fell down and draped over the rear head rests.
The mechanism appears to have let the blind right out as far as it will go and now there's no 'spring' tension in the thing to let in roll back in and pack away. I've had to leave it gathered up on the shelf
How do you get the thing out? do you remove the whole parcel shelf? do you think I'll be able to repair the blind at all? I have a vision of non-maintainable parts, tiny springs, tiny grip washers etc....
Maybe I shouldn't have left the blind up for 2 years?
Can someone have a look on Service Pox for the list price pretty please?

I've located one from Yeomans online shop for £43.82 inc vat. just in case.

Oh look, they're actually cheaper!
They're black or brown and you, sir, have a first aid kit

My estates don't have them of course

Hey, it's bust, taking it to bits can't make it any worse!
You mean you
still didn't sign up to Service Pox? (PM me an email address forthwith)

Someone's swiped the first aid then
I wondered what the 'cubby hole' was for! I've never actually tought of anything to put in it yet so it lays empty
It looks like I've got to whip the speakers out, then the shelf tucks down below the rear seat backs and also the seat belts pass through the shelf too

oh and the whole lot is held in place by snap-u-off fixings
What can you email to me then?
