Dash Bulbs

I have the bulb of the fuel needle blown and I am planning to change all bulbs when I took the dash out because they will start going.
Do I need to buy red bulbs because my dash light is red or just the white ones.
Do some one know the code for the bulbs to buy some before I take the dash out.
