I've ordered some chrome rings for my dials from ebay, currently got a white dial facia but still have my old black one, do you think the rings would go better with the white or black dials, can't decide.....

I think they'd look nice on both. But the white dials are sexier

This is the link where i bought mine, they also have a listing for the D8 rings with the flat bottoms, i mailed them and said mine needed an extra small ring from what was in the photo, they said if i bought the item they would send me a revised total for £2 extra, which they did!

Seems a bit pricey. Is it easy to take the plastic cover from the housing? What is used to reseal it?
Does anyone know if i can get the blue/white bulbs that some later 406's have as staandard for the needles in the dash. My ones are boring orange.

They are a little pricey but i like the rings as it just makes the dash look more upto date, the plastic cover is clipped into the black housing, i once read either on here or the coupe forums that you can take it apart using a nice hot hair dryer to make the plastic a bit supple so you can remove it without snapping.

Didn't need to take the cover off, the small rings fit through the large holes, and was able to squeeze the large rings through the large holes, was enough flex in the rings to gently push them through the largest part.
