Hi d00ds and d00derinas. Currently got the Green Dream sitting outside with the driver's airbag removed. No facial munting so far!

The reason for this is that the wheel had been rattling like a bastard at idle. So do I just get a gert big torx bit and tighten up the bolt? Or is there some sort of bearing that needs replacing?

Mewonders if perhaps it's worked loose since my remote is frakked and I have to manually release the steering lock, requiring heavy-handed jiggling of the wheel once the key is in...

The steering lock's independent to the central locking - everyone has steering lock fun :/

Usually though, it comes free with light pressure on the key with some steering wheel jiggling

'Tis definitely the wheel. I can see it vibrating, and when I hold it tight it stops.

You know what else I discovered? The bowels of my Pug, behind the various pieces of interior trim, are the last resting place of Queen Arachnia and her army of spider people. Millions of the buggers, all long deceased thank God...
